Resolve

Resolve is developed to address nutritional deficiencies associated with low-grade inflammation, insulin resistance and metabolic aberrations (commonly described as the metabolic syndrome).

Resolve contains beta glucans, soluble fibres extracted from oats. Beta glucans are known for their cholesterol-lowering effects, whereby they also contribute to reducing the risks of coronary heart disease. Moreover, intake of beta glucans from oats contributes to reducing the rise in plasma glucose that normally follows a meal and thereby to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.

A double-blind randomised controlled trial (RCTs) has shown that supplementing a high dose of Smartfish product may reduce insulin resistance in obese young people with metabolic impairment. Negative metabolic outcomes may also be reduced by supplementing the same product in a high fat diet.
